With over 10 years of experience in event production and community space activations, Cazi has recently focused on artistic curation, cultural programming, and immersive experience design. Their work is driven by the authentic relationships they seek to build through each collaboration. They ask the key questions: Which communities need visibility? Whose stories should be amplified? How do we want to make people feel? How can each project foster learning, growth, and community building?

Cazimi places the experience of both artists and attendees at the forefront, connecting artists with platforms and opportunities that align, empowering them to express their creativity freely. For attendees, Cazi is deeply curious about how immersive experiences can transform spaces into stories, inviting us to step inside and engage our senses; where every interaction becomes a journey, and every moment has the power to reshape our perceptions. We aim to create experiences that evoke presence, connection to self and others, and to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

  • "Cazimi is both highly accountable and visionary to the extreme. They are what I like to call, a Unicorn. They are also an effortless public speaker and they love it too - a true emcee. For Vancouver Mural Festival, Cazi was responsible for curating, onboarding, contracting, and managing 150+ performers for our cultural programming. Every year we beg them to join back up with us to make VMF a success!"

  • "Cazi brings a rare balance of creative ingenuity and palpable devotion to every project. While working with her producing MAKE WAVES, Cazi's ability to cultivate a community, how she motivates people to take action around a creative vision, and the pure energy she brings to an event are traits I have yet to find in another collaborator."

  • "What sets Cazimi apart is their unwavering work ethic, and their advocacy for grassroots communities. Working on IndieFest 2023's 'IndieArtist Cabaret’ showed her extensive community knowledge and keen curatorial eye, ensuring a diverse lineup that truly embodies re:Naissance Opera's values of innovation and cross-sector collaboration. Cazimi's creativity and passion are evident in everything they do.”
